While it's nice that the baby was wrapped warmly to hinder the effects of the weather on her little body, it disgusts me that people place so little value on a human life that they're comfortable tossing her away like she's rubbish.
The law only gives you seven days. This baby was 2 weeks old (it is unlikely it was in the garbage for a week before being found), so the Safe Haven law does not apply in this instance.
Poor baby. I just hope we don't end up with a law like they have in Nebraska where you can dump your kid into the teen years! How awful!

I believe it was 30 days in Ga. I thought it was a month here too.
