I haven't had a chance to actually follow these blogs -- just looking at the titles. I won't say it will get better, or "keep your head up" or any shit like that. fuck that! reality is a bitch! LOL
I've been there -- I was out of work for almost two years. It got to a point where my confidence was badly shaken and I felt I couldn't do anything right. I'm stubborn, so I plodded on and eventually I was able to break into the field. i actually offered my services for free! LOL I knew I wasn't going to get a job, so I gave the interviewer an offer she couldn't refuse and I offered to work on a volunteer basis. 2-3 times a week for a couple of hours.
Eventually, I got a job offer from them and I haven't looked back sonce then.
good luck sweetie, and hey! Bring some knee-pads to your next interview -- you never know! LOL
Man, you can't beat "free" with a stick! LOL there's also the option of becoming a VISTA volunteer (google it). It comes with a significant stipend and a contribution to educational costs at completion of the term (1 year)
Oh it's a great program (it's just a very complex program, particularly in regards to the system which I work the help desk for, which makes my job more difficult lol)
:)
