Going Green SUCKS!!!!

Category:Other
Now I am all for saving the environment, reducing paper waste and such, but my $20K a year school has decided to start charging us students 10 cents per copy at the computer room! PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT That is what the cheapie no good schools do in Chicago! The nerrrrrrrrrrve.

My thing with this, is that I have a prof that loves 20-50 paged pdf files that are IMPOSSIBLE to read on a computer. At least for me anywaysss. And many of us students are in an UPROAR! This is not exactly a CHEAP school! This is a highly selective PRIVATE school that already charges for EVERYTHING! Some shit NEEDS to be free!

I guess Imma be printing at home and using MY ink and paper! pfffffffft!

Are all colleges and universities doing this?

  1. I know my kids are required to bring a ream of paper as one of their needed school supplies, so this doesn't really surprise me.

  2. Lets not talk about the ream of paper in addition to EVERYTHING else this poor catholic school needs! LOLOL Can't wait to put her in public school next year and get her out of my pockets. Cross ya fingers if I can get her in the best of the best of public schools, she tests for it in December!

  6. I'm not at all suprised...the libraries also charge for printing, after you reach your daily use limit. I think it's 10 pages per day....

  7. Don't know about there, but over here you can get a ream of paper (500 sheets) for $3.60.

Calculating this, each sheet of paper costs $0.0072, so you are being severely ripped off!!!
