Implied INTENT for privacy...

Some of you may be like what the hell is she talking about now???  Recently, I was discussing with a friend about whether or not I would share information regarding what is on their private page.  And I reassured them that no, I would not.

My reason for bring this topic up is that as most of you may can tell, due to some drama last year, a good 95% of my blogs are contacts only.  Most of whom who I have on my contact list is because I see that we may have some things in common.

My point in all this is that although this is a public forum if you will, I should reasonably be able to expect from anyone to not go out and blab my business and put me on front street about whatever it is I am venting about at the moment on a closed, contact only blog.  And I am not talking about innocent  flapping your jibs to your best friend, I am speaking of people putting contents of my private blogs as a form of ridiculing me and calling me out in someone else's comment section as a way to stay in your beloved in crowd.

I guess at the end of the day (DAMN YOU TEAL LOLOL), it is just too much for people to treat each other with decency and respect.  It is one thing if someone has done something absolutely mortifying (and I do mean MORTIFYING as in HORRIFIC, EGREGIOUS, AND whole bunch of words I am learning right now! lmao)  to you and it is quite another... well you get the picture.  If I have to describe the differences of such then silly you.

...one more thing.....

One of the things that I used to like about Multiply was the ability to pick and choose who I want to be on the blog.  The reason why I liked it was so that we women(or you men) can post those most intimate questions and as mothers, we can protect our girl (or boy) from male predators and maybe just MAYBE we would have the ability to post SOME of our most personal business to our most inner circle. It seems that some of us are using that feature to talk shit about others and continue to fuel the drama and tension  that is now what Multiply IS and my thing is, if you feel the need to exclude members on your list more than INCLUDE those same people then why not delete them???

I know how this blog started, but I don't know how to end it.  All I can say is....

DAYUM!!! Ya'll ran Mr. Mike off due to bullshittery, tension and drama? WTF?????

  10. Lemme 'splain this before this is misunderstood. I was going through my friends list, deleting inactive folks and was shocked to not find Mr. Mike on their. At first I thought he deleted me so then after a little investigation of not seeing him anywhere, I asked him via messenger what happened to him on ply. His response was that he got tired of tension and drama that had become Multiply. Now, I hope I aint in trouble for mentioning this because I do not have ill intent, BUT, Mr. Mike has always been one of the most peaceful, not drama having, trying to find truce in a situation...

and I guess it is rather sad that it has gotten to that point.

  11. Doc Mike closed up shop here? Awww dang, he was on my contact list, but it goes to show how closely I follow what goes on here.

I too have been thinking of calling Multiply quits. I've even taken some preliminary steps, hiding my photos, videos, and reviews page. I've left my guestbook open & my blog (but deleted any photos in said blogs). Just reading the drama gets crazy, so I can imagine if folks have your name in it, how it can be disconcerting.

Ya'll holla at me on Facebook. Little to no drama over there. LOL

  14. i guess i'm wondering what exactly entails drama...i guess that varies depending on who you ask....how can you truly have drama online unless somebody is threatening you and they actually know how to follow through???

  15. Well as one that has gone through my share of internet crap, I am saddened to see Doc Mike ride out as well…he was definitely one of the few folks around that basically tried to keep the peace! I truly hate to hear that folks are jumping ship to other sites. I’ve moved from 360 to here, and I’ll be doggone if I make another move. If Multiply goes the way of the dogs…then I’m done…cuz I’m not starting all over somewhere else!

And you are right...there is an expectation of privacy, and I for one am guilty of booting folks off of my list, blocking them from my page, and tailoring blogs that are fashioned so only a SELECT group of individuals is privy to their contents. The expectation is that those that are amongst the chosen few will keep what they find therein to themselves. Not because the contents has anything to do with someone else…who cares about other folks…lol…but because those blogs contain my private experiences that I don’t need other folks privy to!

In the event that think someone might have loose lips…they will be summarily dismissed…without prejudice…and/or review…sometimes I have to double back and apologize, but in the event that is the case…I still see it as a necessary evil for protecting my posts from the bullshit that permeates Multiply on the daily. We are all supposed to be adults but there are grown folks out here acting like 3rd graders…and that’s a tragedy! So…If I have to invite someone back because they were erroneously deleted or blocked or locked-out…then I do so humbly…and appreciate the fact that they accept my re-invite without prejudice…*wink*

  16. Damn and here I was about to say fuck it and start blogging again. What's the point? It has become my experience that folks love drama so much as to create false drama and keep old shit stirred up, like a pot of pinto beans.
It's the reason I have been so quiet. I'm just tired of the shit, and wish folks would at some point, grow up, and or find a fucking life. Oh and I'm not talking about that fake ass, I'm such a happy camper crap that is running rampid around here either. If folks were so fucking happy, they wouldn't have time to sit up on the phone,on IM, in comment sections telling everybody they were so freaking happy. We would all be able to tell.

Damn...now I got to take my ass back to laying up with the baby and watching t.v.? Where are all the grown ups at?

  17. some people dont like to see others happy thats all that is........i understand stand about the bullshit n drama............cause about a week ago i was deleted off my mans page n his myspace page as well n he claim no one has his password.but its strang that i started after issues after i told this one female on his page that i was his gf.i guess she thought she was about to be his gf..................i was deleted n i aint even sending another invite.......................its whatever.you cant let this online shit get the best of you.

  21. You KNOW what, Queen? THAT'S what I should start doing: set 97% or 98% of my blogs to CONTACTS ONLY, BECAUSE I had one instance a month and a half ago in which someone ACCUSED me AND one of my OTHER contacts of being something that we're NOT, and I CUSSED the accuser OUT, and someone ELSE who I've blocked, DUE to them bein' a GODDAMN ONLINE BULLY, made some snide remark about me, and I got ugly with them, too.

To make a long story short, I posted a vent blog about the person making the snide remark to and ABOUT me and ANOTHER individual who DECIDED to jump IN the SHIT DISRESPECTING me by DOING SUCH THINGS, and MY black ass was STUPID enough to have the MOTHERFUCKIN' BLOG set for EVERY DAMN ONE TO SEE!!!! :O ANYWAY, I looked at the bottom of my screen to see EXACTLY who's READING my blogs, and I noticed that someone who IS friends of a COUPLE of people who are on my PERMANENT SHIT LIST (aka FOLKS WHO I HAVE DELETED AND/OR BLOCKED) READ my shit, and I BET that THEY were the ONE WHO TOLD THE PERSON WHO MADE THE SNIDE ASS REMARK ABOUT ME THAT I CALLED THEM A "BITCH" IN MY VENT BLOG, WHICH WAS ACTUALLY A GODDAMN LIE!!! I KNOW this for a FACT BECAUSE that person who I've BLOCKED from THIS PAST SUMMER LITERALLY GOT THE PASSWORD TO THEIR "MOTHER'S" MULTIPLY ACCOUNT TO SEND ME A PM TALKIN' ABOUT SOME GODDAMN, "IF YOU WRITE A BLOG ABOUT ME AND CALL ME A BITCH ONE MORE TIME, I WILL REPORT YOU TO MULTIPLY CUSTOMER SERVICE." If THAT ain't some of the MOST COWARD ASS SHIT THAT I HAVE WITNESSED IN MY MOTHERFUCKIN' LIFE...!!!

THIS is my OPINION of MOTHERFUCKERS who ASK the password to OTHER folks accounts to GET AT people who have BLOCKED them, ACCUSE them of shit that they DID NOT SAY OR DO, EVEN if the person who blocked them DID write a blog about them DISRESPECTING them, and THREATEN to get the folks at Multiply to delete and cancel their accounts: THEY ARE NOTHIN' BUT A BUNCH OF MOTHERFUCKIN' BULLIES AND COWARDS BEHIND A MOTHERFUCKIN' COMPUTER MONITER, CPU, QWERTY KEYBOARD, AND MOUSE WHO ARE MILES AWAY FROM YOU THAT FEEL THAT THEY CAN ATTACK FOLKS BECAUSE THEY AREN'T IN PROXIMITY TO THEM BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT IF THEY DO IT TO YOU IN PERSON, THEY WOULD LITERALLY BE PUBLICLY HUMILIATED AND GET THEIR MOTHERFUCKIN' ASSES WHIPPED LIKE THE ASSHOLES THEY ARE!!!!! THEY MAKE ME SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MOTHERFUCKIN' SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! X( *throwin' shit across the room an' destroyin' a LOT of property*

QUEEN, I SINCERELY apologize for cursing a lot on your page; I felt like I had to vent because I am SICK AND TIRED of bullies and cowards LITERALLY TRYIN' my patience. As you can see, I am a person of VERY little patience when it comes to bullshit. I just feel that some of the drama here on the Net (I mean ANYWHERE here on the World Wide Web IN GENERAL) wouldn't EXIST if certain folks would just WATCH what they say AND do and HOW they go about SAYING AND DOING THEM. :|

  22. Yeah...I hear you...internet drama...Miss Me With That....for real! I don't like it one bit! I don't know why folks do it but they do, and sometimes it takes all your energy to just ignore the comments of idiots and keep it moving! Because at the end of the day, the person is not doing a thing for you...so what do they or their opinion matter...not at all! Pffftttt!!!

  31. I've never ran across anyone that didn't talk about me to others, sharing secrets and shit, just as they were telling me the same peoples business. Test the theory. Tell some shit you haven't told everybody else. When it comes back, you'll know where it came from.
